Care Instructions
Care Instructions
- Do not trim the wick before lighting the candle on the first burn (we did that for you), this ensures the flame is hot enough to create a nice wax pool around 1/4" deep. Candles have memory, it will hold the shape of the first burn. So, be sure to burn until there is a full melt pool or a maximum of 4 hours.
- Wooden wicks burn differently than cotton wicks. Before each burn, trim the burnt end of the wick 1/8"-1/4". If this is neglected the wick may not light or the flame may be too high.
- Store candles in a cool, dark place. Be sure to cover the candle jar to prevent dust particles from gathering on the candle, which could scorch the candle when lit.
- Do not burn candles near drafts.
- Keep away from children and pets.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- STOP burning the candle when there is only 1/2" of wax left on the bottom of the jar.
- In order to get the most enjoyment from your candle, follow the standard safety and care guidelines.
